How FreeH2O handles website data and privacy choices

This notice explains how FreeH2O collects, uses, discloses, stores, and otherwise processes personal information when you visit or interact with freeh2o.io. It also explains how you can manage analytics and advertising preferences through Cookie Settings or, where applicable, Your Privacy Choices.

Before launch, replace these placeholders:

Categories of information

  • Identifiers and online identifiers, including cookie IDs, client IDs, browser IDs, and campaign identifiers.
  • Internet or network activity, including pages viewed, source URLs, time on page, and form interactions.
  • Device and browser information, including browser type, operating system, and screen characteristics.
  • Approximate location inferred from IP address or similar request metadata.
  • Advertising and campaign data used to measure campaigns, build audiences, and understand conversions.

How we use information

We use personal information to operate and secure the site, remember privacy settings, understand traffic, measure campaign performance, and support advertising where you have enabled it.

Essential technologies remain active because they are needed for site operation and to remember your privacy choices.

Analytics and advertising technologies remain off unless you enable them through the notice or settings panel. California visitors can also use Your Privacy Choices and eligible browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.

Cookies, pixels, and advertising partners

Google Analytics

Used for site analytics and performance measurement when analytics is enabled. This may include page views, browser information, approximate geolocation, and client identifiers.

Retention: Google Analytics cookies can persist for up to 2 years by default, and report-level retention settings must be verified in the live property before launch.

Google Ads / Google tag

Used for conversion tracking, audience building, and remarketing when advertising is enabled. This may include ad-click identifiers, page details, and conversion events.

Retention: Retention depends on the exact implementation and live cookie inventory. Verify real cookie names and durations before publication.

Meta Pixel

Used for ad measurement, audience building, and optimization when advertising is enabled. If advanced matching is enabled in the future, additional review is required.

Retention: Exact cookie names and durations must be confirmed in production before launch.

AdRoll / NextRoll

Used for retargeting, audience creation, and campaign measurement when advertising is enabled.

Retention: NextRoll states that cookie identifiers can persist for up to 13 months from last access, while related browsing-history data is deleted after 12 months.

The final published cookie table must be verified in production for each consent state, including first visit, accept all, reject non-essential, analytics only, and California Global Privacy Control scenarios.

Your rights and choices

  • Access, correction, and deletion rights where provided by law.
  • The ability to withdraw consent or change cookie settings at any time.
  • The ability to opt out of sale, sharing, or cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable.
  • The ability to use browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by law.

California disclosures

Some advertising-related disclosures may constitute sale or sharing under California law. When required, FreeH2O offers a Your Privacy Choices mechanism and honors eligible browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

If a California visitor declines non-essential tracking or presents a valid opt-out signal, advertising technologies remain off unless that visitor later changes the setting.
